Maintenance – With ours there is none! It’s got some dirt on it, grab the hose, it will be clean in a second. It won’t fade; need painting, finishing, sealing or anything else; the color is infused into the resin. Wood gazebos and pavilions you have to take into consideration the type of wood and the finish. You have to beware of decay, rot, splintering, termites, refinishing…it’s a headache…we think a backyard gazebo should be about relaxation!

Construction – When working with polymers and steel there are no surprises. Everything is designed to fit together nicely and does every time. The simulated wood grain always looks nice; you can have intricate details like pocketed doors without having to be an advanced craftsman. Modular design means that everything goes together much easier and faster than any wood structure. With wood you have to deal with wood that has warp, screws that split the wood, splinters, sanding, decorative cutting and beveling that is extremely challenging or costly, painting, staining, individual shingles for roof construction. It just does not add up.

Durability – Scratch resistant, non-denting, leak proof, solid design. This is truly family ready. Kids can play in, around, with and everything in between and you need not worry about a soccer ball breaking the side beam, a mud splatter drying into the wood grain or a gash leaving a hole in the finish. The color is infused in the resin so it won’t rub off. Our gazebos and pavilions are designed and tested to withstand up to 77 mph winds. All metal parts are powder coated and hardware is stainless steel preventing corrosion or rust. Roof is designed and tested to withstand virtually any snow load with a strong header made of 2x6 Douglas Fir encased in plastic. With wood most of those claims would be impossible to make because as the wood weathers it weakens, warps, degrades; leaving you with a weakened structure, leaks, rotting, or just about anything else you haven’t thought of but will happen.
